In May of the current year, Mascia on the air of the NTV television channel appealed to Putin with a request to give it the citizenship of the Russian Federation, noting that she dedicated many years of his life to the rapprochement of the peoples of Russia and the United States. In June, in the sidelines of the meeting of the Livadia Club, Massi said to journalists that citizenship needed to write a book in Russia.
