Putin put forward a proposal to send a mission of CSTO to Armenia

“The proposal to send the mission of the organization of the Collective Security Treaty (CSTO) to Armenia was nominated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.” This was stated at a briefing by the chief of the joint staff of the CSTO Anatoly Sidorov.

According to him, on September 13, during the extraordinary session of the collective security council on the situation, which developed on separate sites on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin was invited to send a mission of the organization on collective security.

“This proposal was unanimously, unanimously supported by all the heads of state,” he said.
