Raisi explained change in constitution

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi admitted the possibility of amending some articles by the Constitution of the Islamic Republic, which was adopted in 1979.

According to Al Hadas, this statement by Raisi sounded against the backdrop of the ongoing two and a half months of protest in Iranian cities.

“Iran’s constitution is compiled in such a way that it provides for the exit in the event of a dead end. Therefore, flexible methods can be used in the implementation of its provisions,” he said.
