Raisi: Iran does not need an atomic bomb

“Iran does not seek to create or purchase nuclear weapons.” This was stated on Wednesday by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisisi, speaking from the rostrum of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.

He emphasized that such a weapon has no place in the doctrine of Iran.

“Other countries are trying to present us as a threat, but at the same time they themselves go through testing and creating weapons,” said Raisi.
