Taliban expressed UN support and asked the organization to remain in the country, to continue humanitarian activities, said RIA Novosti by telephone from Kabul United Nations Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan Ramiz Alekperov.
According to him, the practical interaction between the UN Humanitarian Office in Afghanistan and the Taliban continues for 18 years. “We worked with them all this time constantly. And we have established relationships on the implementation of humanitarian activities,” said Alekperov.
