President of the National Academy of Science of Azerbaijan Ramiz Mehdiyev joined the Council of Veterans of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party.
Earlier, Ramiz Mehdiyev was removed from the Board of the party.
Note that Arif Rahimzadeh has been elected as the chairman of the Council of Veterans.
