Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babaev appealed to parents of students with a request to not accompany their children to the university.
“As you know, about 22 thousand students are studying at the Baku State University. This year, 5,000 students were taken to the first year of the university. In connection with the pandemic in the current school year, training in an educational institution was organized. Daily in both Thousands of students come to the BSU. Since today was the first school day, students accompanied relatives, parents, some of them were waiting for them before the end of the classes, which led to the cluster of people before the university. This in turn created problems in organizing training in a traditional manner.
