FBI special agents shot a resident of Utah while trying to detain him for threats to US President Joe Biden.
The FBI statement says that special agents tried to hand over the order for the search of the house of Craig Robertson in the city of the Self, located south of Salt Lake City.
The court documents claimed that Robertson referred to the “murder of the president”, as well as threats to the district prosecutor Manhattan Elvin Bragg and the Prosecutor General of the New York Leticia James.
“This is the right time to kill the president or two. First Joe, then Kamal,” he wrote on Facebook.
It is noted that Robertson was at the age of 70-75 years and wore a semi-automatic rifle type AR-15.
Biden was informed by the FBI about the situation.
