Russia used the drilling platforms captured in 2014 in the Black Sea, according to which Ukraine hit, to protect its ships from the Ukrainian complex “Neptune”. There, the Russians posted their electronic struggle stations. This was told by the head of the Ministry of Defense Alexei Reznikov in an interview with ICTV.
“Why did they have such a meaning? Not only did they stole our gas, not only did they even stole from Ukraine in 2014, the Russians posted their electronic struggle stations on them,” Reznikov said.
At the same time, Reznikov did not confirm the defeat of the drilling platforms with Ukrainian troops. According to him, everyone can make sure that Ukraine struck the platforms if they look at satellite pictures, it can be seen that they are burning.
“So it happened that someone unsuccessfully smoked on those towers, and now they are not used for the purposes that the Russians conceived,” the minister added.
