Reznikov: Zelensky did not announce a counterattack in south

The Military-Political leadership of Ukraine did not announce the counterattacks in the south. This was stated by Minister of Defense Alexei Reznikov in an interview with Ukrainian Pravda.

The head of the Ministry of Defense called for not guessing “about the strategic plans of the General Staff, waiting for certain actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and also not to talk about the military, since this can play in the hands of the enemy.

The official responded to the phrase “Defocation has already been announced. And the military themselves say that after we announced that the main blow of the counterattack will be the south …”.

He said that the Ukrainian government did not announce this: “I do not know where you got it.”

According to him, the president of the country Vladimir Zelensky did not announce any operations, but said that Ukraine will free the entire sea lane in the south.

He also commented on the statement that Ukraine has “provoked”, that the Russians have pulled significant forces to the south in recent weeks: “And who said that we provoked?”.

The head of the Ministry of Defense added that he cannot explain in an interview the plan of the top leadership: “You don’t know what is actually in a strategic plan and where? Let the Russians believe that they reacted.”
