Road police warns drivers and pedestrians 16 November

Due to weather conditions in Baku, the maximum speed of traffic is reduced. This was reported in the metropolitan transport agency (BTA).

On the avenue of Heydar Aliyev, Hydar Aliyev International Airport – Billgia, from the transport junction in the village of Zhey in the direction of the airport, the maximum velocity velocity is reduced by 20 km / h.

BTA calls drivers to observe the installed speed mode and take into account meteorological factors.

Due to the weather conditions, the Main Directorate of the State Traffic Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan:

“currently observed windy and rainy weather conditions require participants in the movements of more attention and responsibility. In this weather, vehicles should not be parked near or under trees, large advertising shields, including other objects that may be overturned or broken as a result of wind exposure.

Given the likelihood of driving vehicles due to rain, drivers are recommended to choose the speed of movement in accordance with weather conditions and adhere to the proper distance. When driving on the roads where puddles are observed or large water accumulations, drivers should slow down and adjust the speed so as not to spat water pedestrians and other vehicles. “

Road police also addressed pedestrians: “We recommend pedestrians to move roads and streets only in installed places without accessing the roadway, in particular, passing near the multi-storey buildings, choose safe space if possible.”
