Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Forced Migrants Rzrovan Rzayev met with representatives of the Swedish media Maria Berlel, Agnica Nordin, Deniz Murdol and Alf Mikael Sileberg.
During the meeting, guests were provided with detailed information on government policies conducted in Azerbaijan in the field of working with refugees and internally displaced persons. It was noted, as a result of the aggressive and occupation policy of Armenia, about a million Azerbaijanis were evicted from its historical sites.
It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, targeted work was carried out on solving problems of refugees and forced migrants. The initiatives of the first vice-president of Mehriban Aliyeva in this area are also important and cause a sense of deep satisfaction from forced immigrants.
Guests were also brought information about the release of Azerbaijani lands from occupation, the current state of these territories, safety measures and restoration work. It was noted that the state continues all the necessary measures to return forced immigrants to their lands.
Swedish journalists said they came to get acquainted with the situation in the country in the post-conflict period, as part of the visit, they will visit the liberated areas of the area.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on questions of interest to journalists, answers were answered.
