Advisor to the director of the scientific work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Academician RAS Viktor Maleev predicted the end of the coronavirus epidemic in Russia by August. His words lead RIA Novosti.
According to him, a certain increase in incidence is possible in autumn, as people will start returning from vacations and will more often contact each other.
“If we talk about Russia, then I think that in the summer there will be a significant decrease in the incidence. You may have isolated cases or even hundreds, but it is not so significant across the country.
