In different regions of Russia, the All -Russian Running Day “Cross of the Nation”.
This is one of the most massive and large -scale sporting events in Russia, both by the number of participants and in geographical coverage.
The All -Russian Running Day of the Cross Nation has been held annually since 2004, in September, usually on Saturday or Sunday.
The organizers of the mass race are the Ministry of Sports, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation, FSU “Department of Sports events”, the All -Russian Federation of Athletics, as well as executive bodies in the field of physical culture and sports of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The main goal of the event is the propaganda of a healthy lifestyle and attracting the physical culture of Russians to classes, and above all young people. After all, almost all regions of Russia participate in it, and the number of participants is increasing every year.
Traditionally, the All -Russian run -run passes in two stages. The first stage is competitions directly in the Russian regions, whose winners and prize -winners take part already in the final cross – Grand Prix, held in Moscow a week after the end of the first stage.
