Russia sees the risks of turning Syria into a arena for a conflict between Iran and Israel, said Admiral Igor Kostyukov.
“The possible transformation of Syria into the arena of the Israeli -Iranian confrontation is alarming,” Kostyukov’s words quoted the Russian media.
He also stated that the Syrian army controls more than 80% of the country.
