Russian Foreign Ministry answered rumors about negotiations with United States in Ukraine

Russia does not negotiate with the United States in Ukraine. This was stated by the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Rudenko, writes Anadolu.

“No, we are not negotiating with them,” said the diplomat to reporters.

He emphasized that Russia does not set conditions for the resumption of negotiations with Ukraine. For this, according to Andrei Rudenko, only the good will of Kyiv is necessary.

“Ukraine has adopted a law that prohibits it to conduct peace negotiations with Russia. This is their choice, we have always declared readiness for such negotiations that were not interrupted through our fault. There are no preliminary conditions on our part, except for the main condition: For Ukraine to show goodwill, ”said the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, in foreign media there was information that Washington was pushing Kyiv to negotiations with Moscow. In early October, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the refusal of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The document provides for the impossibility of negotiations with the current Russian president.
