Russian military captured two British who provided humanitarian assistance in Ukraine

Two employees of the Gamanitarian Organization of Great Britain were taken into custody by the Russian military in the Zaporizhzhya region of Ukraine. The BBC was told about this by Dominic Burn, a co-founder of a network of charitable organizations working in Ukraine.

According to Burn, yesterday, two British tried to help mother with two children leave the village, which passed under the control of the Russian army.

The Russian military stopped the British at the block depot, their further fate is not known. The woman who was waiting for their help received a strange SMS from volunteers, after which the Russian military broke into her house. According to Burn, the military shouted at the woman, accusing her of “aiding British spies.”

Burn notified the incident of British diplomats, but they have not yet made any officer statements.
