The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed the Ukrainian battery with Italian howitzers, the Russian Ministry of Defense said.
“After the reconciliation of the unmanned aerial vehicle, a stab was struck by high -precision artillery ammunition,” the report said.
It is also noted that the objective control of the UAV confirmed that a platoon with 155-mm Italian howitzers was destroyed.
The media previously reported that Ukraine received FH70 howitzers from Italy.
