Russia on Wednesday failed to get from the UN Security Council of an official investigation of the accusations made by Moscow that the United States and Ukraine are carrying out joint programs for the development of biological weapons, foreign media reports.
The draft resolution proposed by Moscow was supported only by China. The USA, Great Britain and France spoke out against, the remaining 10 countries that are part of the UN Security Council abstained.
last week, Russia has distributed a document among members of the Council of People’s Commissars, which stated that with the participation of the US Department of Defense in Ukraine, military biological developments are being conducted that violate the International Convention on the ban on the use of biological weapons. Among other things, the Permanent Representative of Russia at the UN Vasily Nebenzya without any trust in evidence claimed that Ukraine is making plans to use drones with mosquitoes infected with infectious diseases against Russia.

The UN representatives on weapons control have repeatedly stated that they did not know anything about any programs for the development of biological weapons in Ukraine.

In particular, Nebenzya argued that from the captured documents, supposedly, it follows that the Americans worked with strains of such deadly diseases as the plague and cholera and studied the possibilities of spreading infections with the help of birds and bats.
The United States and their allies recently subjected the Russian Federation to criticize the useless waste of the UN Security Council and for the distribution of “conspiracy theories.”
