According to the report, this is the first demonstration after the term of the ultimatum of the Saakashvili family to the Government of Georgia on the transfer of the ex-president to treatment abroad. From this moment, his supporters said that they were moving on to large -scale protests.

On the eve of the family and associates of Saakashvili turned to the Georgian Patriarchate, political parties and even the US Assit of the United States, calling to protect the fundamental right to the life of a Georgian citizen, noting that they did not require the liberation of the ex-president or his return to power. It is only about the possibility of treatment so that the politician survives.

Mikhail Saakashvili on April 20 became bad in court during the consideration of one of the criminal cases against him, reminds Deutsche Welle. A week later, doctors concluded that he had anorexia, intolerance to the body of a number of products and a decrease in muscle mass against the background of post -stress depression.
