The Chairman of the Milli Majlis Sahib Gafarov held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Turkish Republic Jahit Bagchi. The speaker congratulated the Turkish diplomat with the beginning of the activity.
According to haqqin.az in the department of Public Relations and Press of the Milli Majlis, the meeting Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament recalled that the relations of friendship, brotherhood and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on the philosophy of “one nation – two states”, stated Great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Touching the topic of relations between the legislative bodies of Turkey and Azerbaijan, Sahib Gafarov mentioned large groups of friendship in both legislates. She stressed that regular meetings of our deputies on various platforms are very important in terms of discussion of the issues occupying both sides.
In turn, Jahit Bagchi expressed appreciation for the heart acceptance and transferred to the Chairman of the Milli Majlis sincere greetings of the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Schenop.
Jahit Bagchi said that Turkish-Azerbaijani relations are developing in all areas and that two fraternal countries are standing for each other in all matters. He noted that he believes and honor for himself, and a great responsibility work in fraternal Azerbaijan. The ambassador promised to spare no effort to further deepen mutual relations during his diplomatic mission in Baku.
