Sarajevo is confident in further success of dialogue with Ankara

The relationship of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina enter into the peak of their development. About this, the Bosnian member of the Presidium – the highest governing body in Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bechirovich said in an interview with an anadol correspondent.

“It will not be a mistake to say that the best days of relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey are no longer around the mountains,” he said in Ankara, where he arrived to participate in the inauguration of Turkish President Recep Tyipa Erdogan.

Bechirovich expressed the hope that the friendly relations between the two countries would be strengthened even more in the near future. According to him, at present, there are rather good connections between Ankara and Sarajevo, mutual visits are often made at the level of high -ranking persons. He recalled that he personally visits Turkey for the second time over the past few months.

“I hope that this cooperation will become even more intense,” he said. Bechirovich also touched on trade relations between the two countries.

He emphasized that the volume of mutual turnover between Ankara and Sarajevo is growing day by day. “The strengthening of economic cooperation is also very encouraging. We strive to improve the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to attract more investors from Turkey,” said Bochirovich.

A member of the Presidium expressed special gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people for the help provided to the Bosnian people in the past. “Turkey has implemented many projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, repaired many religious structures, and I would like to thank you for it,” he said.

The Bosnian politician recalled the help provided to the residents of the disaster zone in Turkey against the backdrop of destructive February earthquakes.

Bosnia and Herzegovina showed great solidarity with the Turkish people, he emphasized.

Bechirovich also emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between various institutions in two countries. “It is expected that in the near future a number of agreements will be signed between the two countries. I am ready to do everything possible to act with the necessary initiatives for the speedy signing of these agreements and accelerate the process of considering such situations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am convinced that our relations will become stronger than our relations. “,” he added.
