The Administration of the President of Armenia stated that holding a meeting between the Prime Minister, the leaders of the opposition Movement for the Saving of the Motherland and the heads of parliamentary factions on March 13 was unrealizable, Armenian media reported.
According to the report, the administration of the Armenian president explained this by the fact that the invitation was accepted only by the factions “My Step” and “Bright Armenia”, and the faction “Prosperous Armenia” and “Movement for the Salvation of the Motherland” proposed their agenda and put forward conditions.
It is noted that Sargsyan will continue to make efforts and is ready to hold separate meetings with both invited and non-parliamentary MPs, as well as with representatives of various extra-parliamentary forces.
