Saudi Arabia condemned terrorist attacks in Iran

Saudi Arabia condemned terrorist attacks that occurred in the Iranian city of Kerman and entailed numerous victims. This is stated in the message of the Foreign Ministry of the kingdom.

Saudi Arabia does not accept and condemns terrorist attacks directed against the civilian population in Iran, the message will say.

The department expressed condolences in connection with the death of people as a result of the attack, and wished the victims a speedy recovery.

Two explosions thundered on the road leading to the cemetery, where the commander of the Iranian special forces of the Al-Kuds special forces corps of the Islamic Revolution (Xirir) Kasem Suleimani was buried. The incident took place in the province of Kerman on the 4th anniversary of the death of a general who died as a result of the US airline in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.

According to the updated data of the Iranian authorities, the number of those killed as a result of two explosions near the Suleimani grave amounted to 95 people, previously referred to 103 dead. In addition, another 211 people were injured.

Iran’s authorities called the incident terrorist attack.

The Government of the Islamic Republic announced on January 4 to the day of national mourning.
