Saudi Arabia rejects the accusations and criticism of the United States for the decision of OPEC+ to reduce oil production. This was stated by the country’s Foreign Ministry on Twitter.
According to Riyadh, the decision to reduce production was not due to political reasons. “The Saudi Arabia government expresses complete disagreement with such statements that are not based on facts, but rely on an attempt to submit a decision of OPEC+ as an economic framework,” the department said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the decision was made by all members of the OPEC+group.
Earlier, the Foreign Minister Faisal Ben Farhan, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, said in an interview that the decision of the OPEC+ participating countries is exclusively economic in nature, and there is no political subtext in it.
