Scientists: Failure to alcohol can extend life for almost 30 years

Refusal to drink alcohol is able to extend life for 28 years. This was reported by the newspaper Express with reference to the research data of the Caroline Institute in Sweden.

Observations for the life of alcoholics in Denmark, Finland and Sweden, which lasted 20 years have shown that mortality from various diseases in this group was noticeably higher than among non-drinking.

On average, the life expectancy of people who have addiction to alcohol, decreased by 28 years.

It is noted that alcohol use negatively affects the work of the brain, the cardiovascular system, the liver. Even in small doses, it significantly increases the risk of cancer, dementia, impotence and infertility.
