In the figs found a substance that can be an alternative to antibiotics. Russian scientists from Voronezh and Kazan State University, as well as St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University and St. Petersburg Electrical University.

This is reported in the fan material. According to the source data, ficin obtained from latex fig tree was found in figs. It is capable of becoming a substitute for antibiotics. To establish the benefit of this substance, scientists conducted a number of experiments on rats. In particular, ficin was equipped with ointments and gels that can be treated with various lesions.

As a result, it turned out that with the help of ficin in animals, one and a half times faster, purulent wounds began to wipe. In addition, experts concluded that this substance also counteracts bacterial films on the wound itself.
