While this statement was tested only on Coronavac vaccinated drug, but they intend to carry out similar research and with other vaccines.
It turned out that in the process of complete vaccination with Coronavac preparation, women turned out to be 100% protected from the risk of developing the heavy form of COVID-19, while men are only 81%, MEDRXIV reports.
476 people hospitalized with Delta-strain coronavirus aged 18 took part in the study. Taking into account the amendments to age, the floor and related diseases of the test participants, the protection against the development of severe COVID-19 on average was 88%.
