In the American state of California, the second mass murder occurred in three days, according to preliminary information, inside the community of Chinese immigrants. Seven people were killed, one – in critical condition, the shooter surrendered to the police, BBC reports.
The police announced that the shooter is a 67 -year -old local resident Zhao Chunli.
Zhao Chunly himself appeared in the police about two hours after the murders. His arrival and detention were recorded by surveillance cameras. The first four victims were found on a mushroom farm, the other three in a transport company nearby. The motive of murders is still unknown.
Kristina Corps, the sheriff of the police of the San Mateo district, on whose territory there was a mass murder, said that the suspect had a semi-automatic pistol with him, from which he probably shot. According to the corps, Zhao now gives evidence.
Christina Corps added that Zhao shot people with children who had just returned from school. The victims were Chinese and worked on the farm.
On Saturday, in another place in California, in the suburbs of Los Angeles Monteri Park, 11 people were killed. A suspect in this crime, 72-year-old Hu Tire, shot himself when his van found and blocked the police.
