Azerbaijani grandmaster Magomed Muradla unexpectedly became the winner of one of the largest OPEN TORNERS, held as part of the chess festival in the Swiss Bile.
Magomed scored 7 points for 9 rounds and took 1st place, ahead of the additional indicators of Russian Kirill Alekseenko.
Muradly, whose rating is 2523, ahead of many chess players who were inferior to the fideshi ranks. In particular, in the 8th round, he beat the Russian chess player Alexander Motylev (2632), and on the last game day he was able to hold a draw in the party with the main competitor Alekseenko (2708).
