Georgian State Security Service stated that the organizers of the shares in support of the convicted ex-president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili are going to grab power in Georgia, transfers “Georgia satellite.”
The agency noted that a greater escalation of the situation by the organizers of the shares is considered by the elimination option of one of the opposition leaders.
“To maximize the escalation of the situation and the organization of various provocative actions, it is planned to attract for shares of former law enforcement officers. Also, the organizers of the rally are actively considering the possibility of luring to their part of the current employees of the power structures and the elimination of one of the opposition leaders,” the Counter-terrorist deployment team said Center of the SGB of Georgia Bach Malladze.
He noted that the organizers of the shares in Rustavi and Tbilisi, which should begin on November 6, are going to block the state institutions and roads leading to Prison No. 12, where Saakashvili is starving 37 days. In particular, they want to picket of the buildings of the Parliament, the administration of the government, the Presidential of the President, Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia to violate the daily regime of their work, noted in the department.
The SGB noted that the purpose of these actions is to capture power by force, and the instructions of the opposition leaders gives Saakashvili sitting in prison, passing messages through its visitor.
The department also stated that they would act within the law to stop the crime, and the perpetrators would attract responsibility, concluded in the State Security Service.
