Shoigu asked to “exclude Vladimir Zelensky from cultural agenda of Russia”

RF Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu demanded to stop the film shows in Russia with the participation of President Vladimir Zelensky, as well as the implementation of creative projects of producer and director Alexander Rodnyansky.

Meduza writes that Shoigu reported this in a letter to the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.

The Defense Minister of Defense announced in the letter that “as part of a special military operation, measures are being implemented to form a positive public opinion in support of the country’s leadership and actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.”

However, the reports says, “in the cultural sector of Russian media spaces, showing films and television shows with the participation of V.A. Zelensky, as well as the implementation of creative projects of a large Ukrainian media model A.E. Rodnyansky”.

“Popularization of these persons under current conditions does not contribute to the implementation of the decisions taken by the leadership of the country and the Ministry of Defense of Russia,” the letter said.

In connection with this, Sheochu asked to “work out the issue of the exception of V.A. Zelensky and A.E. Rodnyansky from the Cultural Agenda of the Russian Federation.”

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have not yet commented on what happened. Vladimir Zelensky also has not yet expressed this.
