The interaction of Russia and Iran enters a new level, the dialogue between Moscow and Tehran is currently developing especially intensively.
This was stated by the head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergey Shoigu at negotiations with the Minister of Defense and Support of the Iran of Iran Mohammad Rea Ashtiani in Tehran.
“aimed at implementing the entire set of planned events, despite the opposition from the United States and their Western allies,” said the Russian minister.
At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation pointed out the readiness to continue to act together to strengthen security and stability in the Middle East.
“We note with satisfaction that today the Russian -Iranian dialogue is developing especially intensively,” the minister said.
According to Shoigu, this is largely due to trusting relations that have developed between the leaders of the two countries. The head of the department pointed out the high dynamics of meetings, which confirms the general mood to strengthen strategic partnership between Russia and Iran in the defense sector and military cooperation.
Sergey Shoigu, during a visit to Tehran, also visited an exhibition of aerospace forces of the Iranian Corps of Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (KSIR), which is represented by the products of the Iranian VPK.
He got acquainted with missile weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as Iranian production air defense systems.
It is noted that the exhibition also presents the “trophy” drones of US production.
