Almost one million Ukrainian refugees arrived in Germany after the outbreak of war in Ukraine. The German Chancellor Olaf Sholts said about this, foreign media write.
“Since February 24, we have found a refuge of 1,000,000 Ukrainians from Ukraine, in addition to their compatriots who already lived here in Germany. They all were and remain very desired for us,” he said at the opening of the fifth German -Ukrainian economic forum that was held in Berlin.
The leader of Germany emphasized that the adoption of Ukrainian refugees in the country was the right step.
