Sholts: Germany no longer collaborates with Russia

Germany no longer collaborates with Russia and was able to quickly adapt to a new reality, said Chancellor Olaf Sholts.

“On February 24, 2022, we were faced with a change of eras, and Germany quickly adapted to this new reality. Reality, where we no longer cooperate with Russia,” Scholts told reporters on the eve of his trip to Latin America.

German Chancellor also emphasized that the country no longer depends on Russian gas, oil and coal. According to him, the country was able to transform the energy for several months, but it continues to work on reducing unilateral dependence of the economy.
