In accordance with the instructions of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, OJSC “AzerSEA” implements a new project in the sphere of sustainable water supply of the city of Shusha. As reported by JSC, after the liberation of the city of Shusha, measures were immediately taken to ensure its water supply, water supply to vital objects. After that, work started on the reconstruction of the city’s water supply system.
It is noted that at the first stage of the project, two reservoirs will be built in the city, a 6-kilometer plot of an intracity network will also be reconstructed. These works are scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
At the next stage of the project, in accordance with the General Plan, urban drinking water supply systems and waste will be completely reconstructed. Taking into account the prospects for residence of the population and the development of tourism in Shusha, the possibility of using the river buried as an alternative source of water supply
