“So that Russia does not pose threat”: Orban said that Europe needs sovereign Ukraine

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Ukraine needs to remain a sovereign state and Russia could not pose a threat to Europe. He announced this at the Congress of participants in the International Association of Christian Democrats (CDI), where he is vice president, reports 24.hu.

Speaking of the war in Ukraine, Orban noted that the most important thing is that Russia does not pose a threat to Europe, “why we need sovereign Ukraine.”

At the same time, Hungarian Prime Minister continued to criticize European sanctions against the Russian Federation, noting that recession should be avoided, and high energy prices because of the war and sanctions of the European Union are complicated by this task for the countries of central European Europe.
