The National Security Service of Armenia arrested a soldier who is suspected of transmitting “coordinates of combat positions to representatives of foreign intelligence”, writes Armenian media.
“Employees of the SNB during the investigative measures revealed that the Facebook arrested through the social network in January 2022 met representatives of foreign special services, then was recruited by them. After that, from January to March 2022, he collected through the WatsApp mobile phone application , as well as through the Messenger application, the Facebook social network handed over to representatives of foreign special services, information constituting state and official secrets, ”the report said.
The report says that in return, a soldier through a bank transfer received a reward in the amount of 200 US dollars sent by special services of a foreign state.
