The State Committee of Azerbaijan on Refugees and Forced Migrants met with representatives of the community of the village of Alkhasly, Lachinsky district, reports the website of the State Committee.
At the meeting, it was brought to attention that at the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, large-scale recovery and construction work, preparations were carried out for the return of forced immigrants were carried out on behalf of the President. It was taken to note that the state program begun for this purpose serves the revival of the Karabakh and East-Zangesur economic regions, sustainable settlement and ensuring employment in these territories.
Residents of the village of Alhasly, noting that they were constantly surrounded by the attention and care of the state, expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva. Expressing hope for the rapid restoration of the Lachinsky district, the Zabukh, SUS and other villages of the district, including Alhasles, the community representatives expressed a desire to return to their native lands and constantly live there. It was noted that both the young and adult generation are ready to make every effort to revive Alhasla.
