Türkiye played an extremely active role in the fight against the terrorist organization Deasha. This was stated by the representative of the US Department of State Jan McCari.
According to him, Türkiye has become a key member of the international coalition against deash.
“Despite the disagreements with our Turkish partners on some issues, we are determined to continue anti-terrorism cooperation with the Turkish government,” McCari told at the annual meeting of the International Coalition against Deasha at the level of political advisers.
According to him, in the framework of the fight against Deash Turkey and the USA, “along with other regions, they conduct dialogue in Africa.”
The representative of the State Department noted that Ankara carefully monitors the development of events in Africa countries south of Sahara.
The coalition against the terrorist organization DeASH was formed under the auspices of the United States in 2014. It included 86 countries and structures.
