The Government of Azerbaijan has undertaken the debt of OJSC “Azeriistiktazhizat” before the production association “Azerigaz” in the amount of more than 34 million manat. This was stated by the head of the Department of Public Relations for Azerigas Eldanisa Veliyev.
According to him, on Tuesday, on November 14, the first negotiations took place between the leadership of “Azerigaz” and “azeristichizat”.
“One day after that, that is, on November 15, a transition to the winter mode of operation was to take place. In this regard, there was a need to supply heat in the apartments of citizens. Following the negotiations, Azerigaz provided this structure a weekly deferment for Debt repayment. Here we were talking about the debt of more than 34 million manat. However, OJSC “Azeriistiktzhizat” appreciated the debt to Azerigaz in 20 million manat, indicating the remaining amount as a disputed subject. Despite this, the “Azerigaz” gave Structure a week to pay off debt.
Veliyev noted that other meetings were held between the structures.
“At the request of the opposite side, it was decided that the delay will be extended until December 15. Today, this period ended. Naturally, everyone is interested in the fate of the citizens after the expiration of this term,” said the head of the press service “Aerigaz”.
According to him, considering the seriousness of the issue, the Government of Azerbaijan allocated OJSC “Azeriistiktzhizat” funds in the amount of 12 million manat.
“Naturally, this is just part of the debt of OJSC before Azerigaz. The government also stated that the remaining part of the debt takes over the remaining part of the debt. Currently, the” azeriistiktzhizat “conducts the process of issuing documents for the payment of 12 million manat,” he said.
Eldanis Veliyev also added that on this debt question between two state structures can be considered complete.
