NATO Jens Stoleberg Secretary General held a conversation with the head of the European Commission Urthulon Der Lyien regarding the situation around Ukraine and noted the importance of coordination of NATO and the EU for the next steps. He wrote about it in his twitter.
“notified the chairman of the European Commission Ursul von der Lyien regarding the buildings of the power and destabilizing actions around Ukraine. It is very important to maintain close coordination between NATO and the EU with respect to the following steps, including possible sanctions,” he wrote.
From his side, the village of der Lyien noted that “Although we very much hope that the diplomatic decision will be found, any further aggression on the part of Russia will be met by a solid response and harsh sanctions.”
