A earthquake of magnitude 6.1 occurred on Wednesday in the province of Sichuan in the south-west of China, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Chinese Seismological Center.
According to information, the epicenter was located in the County of Lushan of the City District of the Yaan of the Province of Sichuan. The focus of the earthquake lay at a depth of 17 km.
