“The Baku metro does not regulate travel prices in the subway and does not have such authority. Regulation is included in the competence of the Tariff Council of the Azerbaijan Republic.” This was stated by the head of the press service of the Baku metro Bakhtiyar Mamedov.
According to him, the Baku metro did not apply to the Tariff Council regarding the revision of the fare.
“In general, we want to note that CJSC” Baku Metro “provides periodicals, including financial statements before the relevant state structures. Nevertheless, appeals to the relevant structures on the revision and regulation of travel prices were not addressed” – said B. Mamedov.
