Sudan wanted to revise agreement on Russian database

Sudan wanted to review the agreement on the creation of the Russian military base on the Red Sea. This was stated by the chief of staff of the Sudanese Armed Forces Muhammad Usman Al-Hussein in an interview with Blue Nile TV TV.

Usman Al-Hussein reminded that the agreement was signed between the former Government of Sudan and Russia. According to him, the Sudanese side can amend or change in a document regarding military cooperation with Russia in the Red Sea. “The agreement may be continued if we find and benefit for our country,” he explained.

The Marine Case Treaty on the Red Sea Moscow and Khartoum signed in 2020. According to his conditions, the African Republic will provide land for the Navy Point of Navy, which will place no more than four ships, including with a nuclear power plant.
