The statement of Christsson sounded in response to the request of Anadolu (AA) to comment on the words of the Secretary General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg that Stockholm had fulfilled all his obligations to Turkey on the path of joining the block.
“Can you give guarantees of Turkey and the Turkish people that the terrorist organization of the RSC and its branches will no longer carry out terrorist propaganda in your country?” Asked AA.
“This morning I held a telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, during which he told him that I completely shared his point of view. Sweden fulfilled all the conditions of the agreement with Turkey. From now on, the decision to enter (Sweden) should be made exclusively by Turkey , not us, ”the prime minister said.
“We are fully aware of the problems that Turkey faces in connection with terrorism and terrorist attacks outside the territory of Sweden. At the same time, not a single government can guarantee that there will be no terrorist attack in his country. Pedro Sanchez, in turn, confirmed the support of Sweden Madrid to NATO.
