Taliban wants to take part in Summit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation

The Taliban announced that they want to send their representative to the 15th summit of the heads of state and governments, which will be held by the organization of Islamic cooperation (OII) in Gambia.

According to the Afghan press, acting as deputy prime minister of the Provisional Government of Afghanistan Abdul, Hanafi villages, he met with a special messenger of the OIS in Afghanistan Tarik Ali Bachit in the capital of Kabul.

During the meeting, Hanafi said that the suffering in the Islamic world is common and that Muslim countries should cooperate to solve problems.

Hanafi emphasized that they want to develop good relations with the member countries of the organization of Islamic cooperation, and expressed a desire to send their representative to the 15th summit of the heads of state and governments, which the OIS will hold in Gambia.

The 15th summit of the heads of state and governments of the OIS will be held in the capital of the country Banzhule on May 4-5.
