Teacher of history at lesson urged to kill Pashinyan, and his family – burn

School teacher in Armenia charged for calls for violence against Prime Minister Nikola Pashinian and his family members. This is reported by Armenia Today with reference to the judicial information system Datalex.am.

According to the case file, the accused is a teacher of the history of the Yerevan school Akop Grigoryan.

“21 May 2021 During the lesson of history for the 7th grade students, using his official position, in the presence of students, he (Grigoryan) announced public calls for violence against Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan and his family members, stating that Nikola Pashinyan needs to kill him, and his family burn on the square, “- the case says.

The history teacher was charged by paragraph 2 of Part 2 of Art. 226.2 (Public calls for the use of violence, public excuse or progress of violence) of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
