Aviation festival, astronautics and technology Teknofest-2023 in Istanbul in five days visited almost more than 2.5 million people. Thus, a world record of attendance for such events is broken.
This was announced by the head of the T3 Foundation, speaking at the closing ceremony Teknofest.
He recalled that the previous world record of attendance was set by this largest technological event in Turkey in 2019 from 1.72 million visitors.
According to Bayractar, this year, more than 1 million people were submitted to participate in Teknofest contests.
Aviation, astronautics and technology festival has been held on an annual basis since 2018 by joint efforts of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technologies of Turkey. Companies and organizations contributing to the technological development of the country are actively supported by the undertaking.
Teknofest, which is already held for the seventh time, attracts the attention of fans of science and technology from around the world.
The Teknofest holds technological competitions, aviation shows, concerts, discussions on various topics and many other interesting events. The purpose of the festival is to attract the interest of society, especially young people in technologies, increase awareness of modern developments and achievements of Turkey.
Teknofest – this is also a chance for hundreds of thousands of people interested in technologies of young people to realize their dreams, participating in various competitions.
The work of Teknofest-2023 in Istanbul ended on Monday, May 1. The festival will continue to work in Ankara.
