According to the publication recently in Armenian society, Telegram channels that have become a real headache for the Armenia authorities have become increasingly used as alternative sources of information.
It is noted that in Yerevan, it was seriously thought about the options for establishing control over popular Telegram channels. The problem is that in recent times the area of political discourse and criticism moved from the social network Facebook to Telegram, and Telegram-channels, as a rule, are not amenable to blocking, nor even the organization of fake attacks, and this circumstance is very upsetting those who are at the helm power in Armenia.
On the other hand, as noted by the publication, the authorities cannot prohibit the activities of the Messenger in the country, and therefore, those who taxit the country turned out to be in a dilemma: either to endure and reckon with the existing situation, or to take sharp “Top” measures to resolve the problem. However, nothing intelligent in Yerevan has not yet come up.
